Okay this was the hardest topic yet. I love music so much and it depends on what mood I am in that determines what I listen to. So here ya go again in no particular order.
- Any song by Stevie Ray Vaughn. I am a huge fan and I love to listen to his music. It also reminds me of growing up becuase my dad used to listen him.
- Best of you by Foo Fighters. I have recently been told by Britta's husband Paul that this song is orginally a song by Jimi Hendrix. Well I am a huge fan of Mr. Hendrix but I have not heard his version, I will probably like his version more but I have to be honest and say I haven't heard it. So for now I will put it down as a Foo Fighter song but I will give credit to Mr. Hendrix if it is his creation. Also Prince preformed this song at the SuperBowl half time show and did a great job.
- Jambi by Tool. I have always been a Tool fan but since I have been dating John I have become a HUGE fan of the group. John and I got to see them in concert this summer and all I can say is that they are truly artists.
- Not Ready to Make Nice by Dixie Chicks. I actually like all of their music. I am a huge fan and when traveling I love to try and sing their songs, (I didn't say I was good at it but I love to sing to their music), just ask John he has heard me sing all of their songs.
- Any song by the Gipsy Kings. I absolutely love their music. When I hear their music it makes me want to be on a beach somewhere on a warm summer night drinking a margarita!
Okay I have to have a few runner ups: Boys of Summer by Don Henley, one of my absolute favorite songs. Wish you were here by Incubus, I love this group. Any of the songs by The Pussycat Dolls, when I am in a feisty or dancing mood I love to listen to any of their music.

Here are my top 5 favorite quotes, in no particular order.
- It is easier to maintain good health through proper exercise, diet and emotional balance than to regain it once it is lost - Kenneth H. Cooper, M.D., M.P.H. (This is a quote from my former boss. I used to work for Cooper Aerobics Enterprizes when I lived in Dallas if you haven't heard of him go to his website www.cooperfitnesscenter.com )
- Tell me and I forget, Teach me and I remember, Involve me and I learn - Benjamin Franklin (This is one of my favorite quotes. I love it because it is so true!)
- Bacon is good - John Travolta (Okay this is one of my favorite movie quotes from one of my favorite movies, Pulp Fiction)

Labels: Blaise's 4th Birthday:)
Blaise of course took some dinosaurs outside to play in the snow with. Here he is trying to bury one of them.
Good thing I bought Blaise a ski outfit, because he was rolling around in the snow. He was loving it! Look at that cute smile!
Another cute picture of Blaise in the snow. He loved making snow angels. By the end of the day our front yard was covered in snow angels!

This is such a great and easy recipe. It is one of John's favorites. I love to make it on a cold day or when we have friends over.
1 lb. Deli sliced Mesquite Grilled Turkey (the turkey must be thinnly sliced so that it sort of melts once put into the mixture)
1 lb. Deli sliced Turkey Pastrami
Butter
Pepper Jack Cheese
Onion
Bell Pepper
1 loaf of french bread
Cut the onion and bell peppers into slices and saute with the butter. When the onions and bell peppers are soft and the onions are getting translucent then add the two types of turkey. Add the turkey piece by piece (don't add all at once you must seperate and add a piece at a time). Once all turkey is added then cut the pepper jack chesse into small pieces and add to the mixture. The cheese will start melting and coating the turkey, onions and peppers. I use tongs to stir the mixture. Cut a loaf of french bread into 2 halves and broil in the oven until toasted. Once the cheese is completely melted put the mixture in the french bread for a GREAT TURKEY SANDWICH!

I apologize for being such a late blogger. Thank you Kim for giving me my late assignments. For those of you who don't know about our weekly posts, I have a group of friends that blog and each week someone thinks of a different topic to blog about. One of the topics that I haven't gotten around to are 3 things you don't know about me, so here ya go.
#1 My full name is Stacy Catherine Bentancourt. I used to hate my first name because in school people would tease me and say that I spell my name like a boy. I even had a teacher in elementary ask me why my parents spelled my name like a boy? I was so devastated.
#2 I can't ski. Although I have gone with my friends on ski trips but I can't ski. It is not that I don't want to but I had knee surgery on my right knee and I never completed all of my rehab (because it hurt) and so now I can't bend my right let past a 90 degree angle due to so much scar tissue. I also got nerve damage on my right leg from the surgery so I loose feeling in my leg from the knee down every once in a while. So therefore I haven't actually been on the slopes because I have been afraid of falling and hurting my leg even more.
#3 I also can't jump into a swimming pool without holding my nose. Kim and I have this one in common and it makes me laugh because we both had pools in our backyard growing up so you would think that we would be expert swimmers. (Thanks Kim for letting me reuse this one).

Okay my pictures are a little out of order but I have to tell you that I had a FABULOUS New Years Eve. I like to refer to my day as the day I was a high roller. We started the day out at the Cowboy game in the suite and yes we had VIP parking and parked next to Jerry Jones. As you all know we lost the game but we had fun in the suite. I was especially happy because my dad, brother and sister got to go with us. My mom decided to stay in the hotel to take care of Blaise. Thank You Mom. After the game we went to party with my best friend, Virginia, from Dallas at Hotel ZaZa. We had so much fun. We had great seats and partied until the bar closed. I have more pictures that I will post later but let me just say that Averi and I ended up in bed together with another couple. I am so happy that I got to spend New Years with my family and friends. Oh I forgot to mention that the picture with the old man is Father Time and the picture with the little person is Baby New Year. I am happy to say that Pat did not freak out or try and pick him up or anything. I also have to mention that I think John looks sexy in that mask! I will post more pictures later.
Virginia - Thanks again for a wonderful time and for keeping an eye out for us. You did a wonderful job planning and decorating for the party. I hope your Valentines Party is just as successful.

Here are just a few pictures from our Christmas at my grandmothers house. As you can guess Blaise got more dinosaurs this Christmas! Oh yeah! Doesn't he look cute with a mustache on - I don't know why he has it on but one of my cousins had a package of fake mustaches and the kids all had them on - it actually was very funny. I took a picture of my grandmothers Christmas tree so that you can see how many gifts there were - it was crazy! One of the pictures is of Blaise thanking his great grandma for the dinosaur that she gave him.

John, Paul, Britta and I took the kiddos to look at Christmas lights last Friday night and we had so much fun. In the first picture as you can see Blaise and Patrick are so excited to be taking a picture together. In the second pic Blaise is singing and Patrick doesn't look to thrilled about it. We had a lot of fun driving to see the lights out at Lake Ransom and we also saw the new houses out at Vintage Township. Britta and I agreed that the houses were nice but we think that when they are done the stepford wives will be living there. Anywho we had a great time. Merry Christmas everyone!

I had to put up a picture of my good friend Virginia and her two beautiful kids, Julia and Morgan. This picture is from Thanksgiving. Virginia is a friend of mine from Dallas and I miss her so much. I can't wait to see you on New Years Eve!

Sorry guys but I guess I didn't take as many pictures as I thought.
Here is a nice picture of the girls who hosted the party except for Kenda, Kerri and LeighAnne.
Here is a picture of Kerry and I. You can tell this is an early picture because I am able to focus.
A picture of John and I along with a couple picture with Britta and Paul.
Here are Kenda and I playing Human Limbo, Lance played too. (Kenda don't get mad at this picture). The next day John asked me, "now why did you have your leg up on the counter?"
Needless to say I had a great time at this party. So great that I couldn't get out of bed until noon the next day!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Blaise got to see Santa today. Blaise actually calls him Christmas. He wasn't to excited about it but he was a great sport. When Santa AKA Christmas asked him what he wanted for Christmas Blaise answered "presents". He is such a smart boy! Merry Christmas Blaise!
